Other Services

I’ve been around the block enough to offer miscellaneous services to other amazing creators! If you need another pair of eyes on your work, or just have no idea where to get started launching your project, hit me up for editing/consultant work!

This sort of thing doesn’t even need to be expensive: If you just need an online store, but centralize all your information on your instagram profile, that’s a thing you can do! Shoot me a message for rates, or if you have any questions!

*My day job is actually in websites, so I have to be fairly careful not to violate that non-compete clause. Because of this, I can offer “consulting” on your website, but I cannot build you a separate, hosted property. We can talk details as we get further in on your project.

“Branding” is one of those dirty business words that most artists hate… and that I have a ton of fun with. I’ve got enough experience with re-branding and project-launching to be super comfortable curating a “brand,” and I realize that makes most artists ready to pull their hair out. If you want to look more professional and have no idea how to do that, I can probably help!

So you’ve already got a few published works out there and a decent social media following, but you want to pull all your works in a central location and make everything match… You maybe have a few vague guidelines such as “I like pink” and “I write romance,” but beyond that you don’t know where to start. If this sounds familiar, this package is for you!

The full package includes a logo, website consulting, color/font work, and business cards- everything you need to take your work to the next professional level.

You have a design in mind for a logo and can do everything else… but you need that logo.

You’ve got a logo already made, but laying out a business card design and getting that for cheap is a pain.

Do you REALLY need an online store? You’re not sure.

If these sound familiar, this is the package you wanna go with. I can do one or two tasks for you, and let you handle the rest!

Here’s a list of projects I’ve worked on!

Alex is a horror/sci-fi author who needed a place to display his past work and provide a hub for publishers/fans to contact him… all on a grad-student budget. So we built a free tumblr site, I photoshopped a wonderful free image on Unsplash from Andrew Amistad, and took advantage of a Vistaprint sale. Design-wise, Alex knew he wanted something sophisticated, creepy, and the primary color to be blue. I took those prompts and ran.

Isobelle had several successful works already published, but didn’t have a sleek way to show everything off. Unsplah’s Nathan Anderson provided the perfect galaxy image to really pull in that sci-fi feel: I went abstract since Isobelle’s stories really span different worlds/themes and feature some real unfathomable creatures as the main characters, so the purple colors bring in an overtone of calm while the space-like font and background signal something undeniably other. Once again, Vistaprint had our backs on those business cards.

This is one of those specialties that I’m not so much talented at, as much as I’ve just done enough anthologies to have useful input. My rates for this sorta thing are suuuuuuper low, mostly because I’m not so much a professional, as much as I just have a decent enough handle on verb tenses, story arcs and character design to be useful if you need a second pair of eyes and are sick of bugging your friends for feedback.
